SKVT Lokomotiv Nikola Nanov wishes success to his two competitors who will play in foreign teams in the new season, representing some of the strongest schools.
Martin Petrov left for Rome, where he is already training and will compete for the men’s team of the famous Italian club Lazio. Ioan Yotkovski has been in Hungary since the summer and is now officially a competitor for the junior team of the local Szentes.
Martin Petrov has won 6 titles in the state championships with the teams of our club – senior juniors (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) and men (2017 and 2018), he is also the winner of the Bulgarian Cup with the men’s team of Lokomotiv NN in 2016.
Ioan Yotkovski has two titles with the senior youth team (2017 and 2018), as well as a silver medal with the junior youth team (2017).
Martin Petrov and Ioan Yotkovski were in the youth team of Lokomotiv NN, which in the summer of 2016 won the cup in the first edition of the strong international tournament in Kikinda. This is so far the only trophy won by a Bulgarian team at a tournament in Serbia in the entire history of the native water polo. For the success, the club’s team received a prize for “For Inspiring Success” during the ceremony for awarding the best young athletes for 2016 in the survey of the children’s and youth sports website Viasport.
