The women’s team of Lokomotiv NN won the state championship title for the second year in a row. After playing the matches of the second final round in the Burgas “Flora” swimming pool, the team, led by Vasil Nanov and Andrey Sushkov, finished the championship with only victories. Thus, the Lokomotiv NN team once again lifted the championship cup.
The winners of two individual awards were announced from the capital’s team: Tanya Valcheva received the award for best defender, and Iva Dimitrova with 32 goals became the best scorer. Burgas’ Chernomorets also received two prizes: Mila Avrenlieva is the best goalkeeper, and Stella Dimitrova – the best striker. Hrisina Hristova from Botev 2000 (Vratsa) earned the award for most valuable player.
